Recipes
Simple, family-tested ways to cook Forever Vos beef. Every recipe here starts with cuts from our farm store or a quarter, half or whole beef order, dry-aged for at least 14 days for deeper flavor and tenderness.
Not sure which cut to use? Ask us at the farm store or give us a call, and we will point you to the right roast, steak or ground beef for the dish.

Instant Pot Barbacoa Beef
Tender, shreddable barbacoa made from a Forever Vos Farms chuck roast in the Instant Pot. Great for tacos, burritos and bowls.
Cooking with dry-aged beef
- Bring it to room temperature. Take steaks out of the fridge 30 to 45 minutes before cooking so they cook evenly.
- Pat it dry and season well. A dry surface and a good pinch of salt give you a better crust.
- Check doneness early. Dry-aged beef holds less water, so it can cook a little faster than you expect.
- Let it rest. Give steaks and roasts 5 to 10 minutes before slicing so the juices stay in the meat.
